Child Care during Your Cultural Homestay
During your stay in India with us and learning about Indian culture, customs, language, education system, and marriage system, you will be able to volunteer in local Government run Day care centers.
These centers take care of the children of BPL (Below Poverty Line) and EWS (Economical Weaker Section) families who can't afford private daycare facilities for their children. Here you can help the local staff in taking care of the children, teaching work, indoor and outdoor games, helping in cleaning the premises, gardening and watering the plants.
Children and staff at Daycare centers
The children at these daycare centers are from the age group of 3 to 6 years and of mixed gender. The staff is appointed by the government under a private organization's CSR activity. We support the center by sending volunteers and providing educational materials and games, and types of equipment through our volunteers.
If you are interested in our Cultural Exchange and Host Family Stay program and would like to volunteer in India, please write back to us at info@work-travel-learn.com
